Description:
1) Signed sword, 35" OAL, 25" blade with straight hamon and silver plated habaki, four-lobed tsuba with gold accented floral carving and matching fuchi, seppa and menuki, and a lacquer finished saya with polychrome phoenix/ho-oh motifs. One mekugi-ana, with a five-figure signature on the left side of the tang. 2) 35" OAL, 24 1/2" blade, jagged hamon, and standard fittings. One mekugi-ana, with a Seki Arsenal stamp and six-figure signature on the left side of the tang.
Rating Definition:
1) Blade is good with minor pitting and wear, a strong hamon and attractive grain. Fittings are very good. 2) Fair, with spotting, pitting and wear overall.
