"LINE THROWING GUN/SERIAL NO. 202/MCKEEVER-DALEY CO., INC./241 EQUITABLE BLDG. BALTIMORE, MD" stamped on the oval brass plaque. "U.S.C.G." (U.S. Coast Guard) with inspection initials and "202" stamped around the face of the muzzle. The carriage measures 26 inches long by 12 inches wide. These were primarily used for shore based coastal rescue operations.
