A pre-World War II era example marked with Showa dates "13.12" on the right side of the frame, indicating manufacture in December 1938. Markings on right side of slide indicate it was manufactured by the Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company in Tokyo.
OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

Mid-World War II era marked with Showa dates "19.10" on the right side of the frame, indicating manufacture in January 1944. Markings on right side of the slide indicate it is a second series manufactured by the Torimastu factory of Nagoya Arsenal.
