Scarce Winchester 52A series target rifle, manufactured circa 1940. Winchester factory barrel markings with Winchester proof marks, left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The barrel mounted scope blocks with a scarce Lyman 8X Targetspot scope, standard reticule with original lens caps. Filler blocks installed in place of the front and rear iron sights. Original factory stock embellished with hand cut checkering on the side of the pistol grip and around the forend. It also has professionally embellished with inserts on the forend tip, grip cap, side and end of the buttstock with factory checkered steel buttplate. Original factory sling swivels with leather sling.
