13 1/2" OAL, 8 5/8" blade with standard "Ulles fur Deutschland" inscription on the left and Aesculap-Tuttlingen maker's mark on the right, nickeled guard with additional "Heinr. Gross" stamped on the right, hardwood grip with standard badges, and nickeled pommel. It is possible the stamped inscription pertains to Dr. Heinrich Gross, an Austrian psychiatrist, who had war crimes charges brought against him in 1999 for the murder of mentally handicapped children. Includes a standard scabbard. Very good, the blade mostly bright with a few scattered patches of very light surface pitting, slightly twisted grip (guard to grip fitment slightly shifted), and generally mild wear and light handling marks.
