Manufactured 1895-1896. With two factory letters listing this rifle with a round barrel in .303 Savage when it was accepted at Savage's New York offices on March 28, 1896 and shipped on September 9, 1897 to T.B. or J.B. Davis Arms Co. of Portland, Maine.
