Description:The binoculars are believed to have been from a captured WWII era Japanese battleship. Measures 22" from the eyepieces to the objective lenses and weighs just over 50lbs. Finish is matte green and black paint. The eyepieces have a pair of rubber eye protectors. Includes a swiveling adjustable pintle mount and a green Vietnam medical case marked A&S Tribal Industries on the inside of the lid and with a Red Cross painted on the lid along with the numbers "6400-48019" and "8". Also includes a West German made Linhof Model 166 tripod with dual spirit levels, a pan and tilt head, and 19 1/2 inch telescoping neck and legs which can extend to 57 inches with adjustable balance. CONDITION: Very good to very fine overall.
